I will be providing updates on our friend Cathy's brave journey and battle with Cancer. I know she will win! Please share your well wish's for her on here. She can check these when she can and I will be making a notebook for her as well for when she isn't up to reading them. We have enjoyed traveling and having many adventures with our pugs to the shows and even Argentina! Here she is showing her pug Zac Attack at the show the weekend before her big surgery which was Monday July 19th, 2010.

Out of the hospital at last!
This was just taken tonight by Jim and Jan Bradley while Cathy and I were talking!! Thanks so much :)
Cathy is doing well but very tired which is very understandable. Kim whisked her off to Sequim as they had some wonderful plans to just hang out at the shows this weekend and the wonderful Bradley's are cooking dinner both nights. The trip was a lot for Cathy but luckily Kim was driving the motor home and she could go back there and lay down for part of the trip. They figured it would be a nice time to get away from everything. They just took a few pugs and Alecia is at the house watching the others. Thank you Alecia!
It is wonderful that there are so many people who have so much love for Cathy!
It is great for Cathy to have a break from the intense Chemo and she will be going in the week of our Specialty for 3 more days of it. Not only is it tiresome, it makes her muscles sore and puffs her up. But as long as it does it's job it will all be worth it.

One round of chemo down, Cathy! We are rejoicing that you are home (well, at a dog show, which is sort of like home) and are praying for strength and health for you. And what a wonderful man you've got beside you through it all!
ReplyDeleteHope the show is wonderful and that you and Kim enjoy some relaxing, unstressful time this weekend.
Gretel and Polly just got nail trims and baths, so our house is filled with DRAMA this morning. They are now outside in the sun since it's finally cooled down enough to turn off the AC.
Cathy you look wonderful, so happy to hear you are out and able to enjoy the pugs showing. Rest easy and enjoy!!! We luv ya and are thinking of you here at the Shelnic Pug farm. Big Hugs
