  1. Cathy,

You are a strong, brave woman that has so much to offer in life. You will pull through and you will be fine because we have some Malibu and Orange Juice to drink when all is said and done. You are my friend and although a border separates us from spending good quality time together, I am here for you. Anything you need you just ask. I wish you all the best on Monday, myself and my family are thinking of you. You stay strong and know you are not fighting this fight alone.

  8. Cathy,
Though we have never met. I feel a connection to you as a mother of our beloved pugs now for over 15 years...and as a woman of God. I have enjoyed the fun photos of you and Diana on your many trips together and at the Pug Rescue events in her Albums... I can and have felt your enthusiasm through just viewing your image. We are on the other side of the Country & want you to know we are all praying for you. God Bless YOU and Your team caring for you as well. Today is your surgery and My son's 10th Birthday. IT IS A GOOD DAY... GOD IS WORKING THROUGH THE HANDS OF YOUR DOCTORS TODAY......WE ARE PRAYING FOR YOU NOW AND TILL WE SEE THAT BEAMING FACE AGAIN! Kimberly Fowler & Family, West Virginia.

  10. Cathy, you have always been a good friend and mentor to me. I always know that I can look to you for good advice and emotional support when I need it and am so thankful to have you in my life. I know you will bounce back fast, you always have so much energy and not even Cancer can slow you down. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help, I am very close and would be happy to run to the store or even run a pug up to the Norton's if need be, call me any time "trust me I need any reason I can to get away from the kids". I love you very much and wish you a speedy recovery. I hope Kim and your pugs are taking good care of you.

  12. Cathy,

In these last few years your kindness and thoughtfulness has redefined what friendship truly is to me. You give so much and so selflessly; I am a better person having been your friend – thank you!

You are by nature an over-comer Cathy, and if anyone I know can overcome Cancer, it is you amazing lady!

You are in my continuous prayers and thoughts. And I am here for anything you need.

    Much Love Friend,

    Rebecca

  13. Dear Cathy & Kim,

I am so sorry you are facing this crummy disease. Please know that many positive thoughts & the wish for the strength to deal with all that you are facing are being sent your way; directed not only to you, but to Kim as well. I am so confident that your natural determination & fighting spirit WILL get the upper hand on this thing. Having been in your shoes myself, I understand how things may look and feel today, but I also know your tenacity will pave the way to better days. I am convinced that God provides what we need- when we need it & I’m sure that will be the case for you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

  15. Dear Cathy and Kim,
I know you had a bit of a set back, with your healing process, but I know because of your strong personality, you will beat this disease, because you are a fighter. You will not lay down and let anything beat you down, because you want to be the winner. And I know you will be a winner. You are my mentor and my true friend, and I have still so much to learn from you. So hurry up get well, and show us all how to do it right, in life and the show ring. If you need anything from me , just let me know, hopefully we will have another vehicle soon. Love you and Kim. Anne and Dan Benson, and all the Pug kids. Pug Hugs to you both.

  16. Cathy,

I am so sorry to be late in letting you know your in my thoughts and prayers. I tend to be a computer tard without a blog until now. You are strong and giving and kind, and need to fight this. Diana has been so kind to keep me updated and include me in your progress. Please know how much I look forward to seeing you and Kim ringside, even though I haven't told you that in so many words. You are a gift to our sport.
